The 12v led light or light emitting diode was primarily used in electronic printed circuit board or PBC and in control panels as an indicator of a functioning component of an electronic system. An illuminated led would simply mean that the particular circuit is closed and working.In simple terms LED was used to indicate if an electronic apparatus is on or off. Today 12v led light has played a significant role in our modern day living. The primary use of 12v led light technology today is still an indicator of an on or off device, but also, it is being used in a lot of other ways and lighting is one of them.
Led lighting system has become so effective and efficient that has practically overwhelmed us. Having been used as an electronic component, led are designed to be small and since it is, it can be installed practically everywhere, and because heat emission is very minimal it will translates into a longer service life span of the lighting system. Since LEDs are diodes, it does not operate on an alternating current directly, but on a direct current system. So to use them in households were electrical supplies are in alternating current, a circuit has to be designed by the manufacturer and has to be built-in the lighting system so that it will become compatible with our household electric source and supply.
As we move forward into the 21st century a lot of discoveries will be made, Innovations will reach new heights, and new raw materials will be discovered. Some seemingly worthless elements then might prove to be of significant importance in the future, but, here in the present one thing is certain. The 12v led light or light emitting diode had evolved from a circuit board indicator to a practical lighting system that has illuminated the darkness of the present.
